The reason behind my screenname/email address...

When I started on AOL, over 7 years ago, the screennames/email addresses were limited to 10 characters. As well, most screennames with the word Irish were already in use. I came up with Irishduds (duds=slang term for clothes) when I was using a screenname on my uncle's AOL Account. So, when I got my own AOL account, I just added the 2.

Work, Work, Work...

Well, I just got home from Walgreens. We were dead, tonight. However, the Assistant Manager, and myself got a lot of work done. We were putting up Halloween stuff, and I think we got all of last year's stuff put on display. Tomorrow one of the managers will be putting up this year's stuff. I have to work at Walgreens Monday, and Tuesday, and then I will be off for two days.

I have 4 days, this week, but I let the Scheduling Manager know that I prefer to only work 3 days a week during the school year. He said, "Don't you want to make more money?" I told him I also Substitute Teach during the school year, and I am working on my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Money is nice, but I wont be making much of it if I don't get my Bachelor's degree. I think he understands now.

College Football Season Has Arrived

Did anyone catch the Tennessee - Cal game? That has got to be one of the best opening day games I have ever watched. (I had just gotten my day started when UF was playing, so, I only caught a few minutes on my radio, and a few moments on TV, in between my errands.)

It is a shame that anyone had to lose the Tennessee game, and it is further more a shame that Tennessee lost. For some time my dad and I thought that it was going to be down to the wire, but Tennessee just didn't seem to have it in them in the second half.

Congratulations go out to my three favorite teams. Penn State handily defeated Florida International by a score of 59-0. UCF eaked out a win over North Carolina State by a score of 25-23, in North Carolina. And UF handed a huge loss to Western Kentucky by a score of 49-3.

I feel better now...

I feel better now that I had a chance to vent. (Breathe deeply. Now Exhale.) LOL

I just got off of work at Walgreens. I am really tired, but I have Saturday off. So, I will go rest me weary head, and I may get on here later, once my brain has had a chance to reboot. LOL

Financial Aid...

Where is my financial Aid?!?

I need it now!!! I don't remember financial aid being this slow when I was in Community College. Then again, that was 12 years ago.

WHERE IS MY FINANCIAL AID??? I NEED IT NOW!!! I CUT BACK ON MY HOURS, AT WORK, SO I COULD SPEND MORE TIME STUDYING. I NEED MY FINANCIAL AID, NOW!!!
